YOUR HOST: New York-based recording artist, author, and lecturing professor Mike Errico teaches songwriting at universities including Yale, Wesleyan, the New School, and NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. He was nominated for 2019’s David Payne-Carter Award for Excellence in Teaching, and taught the 2022 GRAMMY® Museum’s inaugural Summer Sessions in New York City. His first book, Music, Lyrics, and Life, is a deep dive into the mystery of songwriting and the logistics of life as a songwriter.

Matthew Wang is a film and TV composer who has worked on projects including YellowjacketsNew Amsterdam, and the last two Reno 911 films. He is also working on a 150-track meditation album, and just released a film scoring class on Studio.com (a site that also hosts songwriting classes with Charlie Puth and Ryan Tedder, among others).

Sofia D’Angelo is an NYC-born vocalist and songwriter in the band MICHELLE on Atlantic Records. They’ve appeared internationally with Mitski, Briston Maroney, and Arlo Parks, and at festivals including Outside Lands, All Things Go, and this year’s Governors Ball in Flushing Meadows. This summer, they’ll be at Lollapalooza in Chicago alongside Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lana Del Rey.

Mikah Feldman-Stein is a musician, software engineer, and creative technologist who has worked extensively in the generative AI music space, most recently at Amper. Currently, he is working on an AI platform to help people extend their creative writing projects. Under the artist name Mikah, he released “Note to Self” in 2021, and is following it up with a single, “Headlines,” which drops this month.

Gabi Grella is a mastering engineer who has amassed over 800 releases spanning from singles/albums to podcasts to TV show soundtracks. She is currently building a home mastering studio in Morristown, New Jersey.

Justin Friedman runs Artist Relations for Bond Audio, which includes the renowned brands D’Angelico Guitars, Supro Amps, and Pigtronix. He is also an accomplished producer in the hip-hop space who has credits with artists such as Lil Peep, Pouya, Mike Dean, Brennan Savage, Fat Nick, and Ilovemakkonen.

Sofia Campoamor is music director at Hear Your Song, a collaborative songwriting nonprofit empowering children and teens with complex health needs. This summer, she’ll be facilitating open mics, songwriting workshops, and community choir events with Gaia Music Collective. Her debut album, “if you knew, i couldn’t tell” came out in December of 2022, and her latest single, with Lizzy Hilliard, is entitled “The Woman I’ll Become.”

Stefan Accardo works in A&R for Anemoia Records, an imprint of Atlantic Records. He also founded Oktave I/O, a next-generation production company in partnership with BeatStars, focusing on the online rap and pop creator space.

Scarlet Fiorella is a singer, songwriter, and producer who describes her music as “a bottle of red wine and speaking your mind.”  She’s inspired by 2000’s R&B with a singer-songwriter edge, as can be heard in both the music and the title of her most recent EP, “It’s My Show Now.” She is also co-writing with, and for, other artists, most notably Sidney Bird.
